The Naples Board of Realtors® released the 2011 year-to-date real estate statistics for Naples Florida recently. While the inventory of properties has declined, the thrust of the market is still with properties under $300,000.00.
If you look at the 2011 annual report, you'll see that 76% of the condominium sales are under $300,000.00. 63% of the single family homes are under $300,000.00. Condominiums have an inventory that could last 12 months. Naples Single Family Home inventory could last 10 months. A "Normal" market is said to have an inventory of 6 months.
The bottom line is that mass humanity is searching for a place in Naples Florida under $300,000.00. This does not leave a great number of buyers for all the other price ranges. If you are looking for a home in Naples and it is within your means to stretch further than $300,000.00, there are some spectacular buys out there right now. Interest rates are at a low and there is still scads of inventory over $300,000.00.
Season has descended upon Naples. My own brothers contributed to the seasonal influx of people. Patrick was able to enjoy the small condo I sold him several years ago. We were able to welcome James for a stay at our home. It was wonderful to have both my brothers in town, even though I DID have to work. While James was here I was able to share this beautiful sunset with him and my husband Don.
